This paper aims to propose an invitation look at the kind of childhood we have been constructing from practices Special Education, in articulation with Early Childhood Education. It problematizes discursive webs formed this articulation, considering way that Education teachers working public schools regard childhood. Such discussions derived uneasiness thinking about how producing childhood, given policy expanding mandatory attendance four-year-old children. The analytical exercise, inspired by discourse analysis proposed Michel Foucault, has enabled us question production subjects, truths and realities “confessions” interviewed teachers, which identified two ways childhood: captured is produced through operationalization normalization determined will knowledge power over childhood; as heterotopy, a powerful movement resistance denaturalization normalizing – regarded other places, infinite, multiple, non-nameable, ever undetermined becoming, thought: what can do encounter childhood(s)?
